The Lower Silesian Intermediate Body (DIP) is a budgetary unit of the Lower Silesian Voivodship, created by Resolution No. XVI / 196/07 of the Lower Silesian Regional Assembly of 30 October 2007.
In the financial perspective 2007-2013, DIP's task was to efficiently and reliably implement part of Priority 1: "Growth of competitiveness of Lower Silesian enterprises - Enterprises and innovation" and Priority 5: "Regional energy infrastructure friendly to the environment - Energetics".
In the 2014-2020 financial perspective, DIP aims to:

implementation of the tasks entrusted under the Agreement between DIP and the Board of the Lower Silesian Voivodship under the Regional Operational Program of the Lower Silesian Voivodship for 2014-2020 and acting as the Intermediate Body for the ROP WD 2014-2015;

acquisition and implementation of external projects financed from EU funds, regardless of national programs and other international funds.
The DIP activity is financed from the Dolnośląskie Voivodeship Budget and Technical Assistance funds under the ROP WD and funds acquired as part of external projects.
The main DIP tasks include:
- conducting a call for proposals for co-financing,
- technical verification, formal and substantive evaluation of applications,
- signing contracts with beneficiaries,
- project settlement,
- payment for beneficiaries,
- control of project implementation,
- providing information on the procedure for recruitment, evaluation and selection of applications for co-financing.
